Barind College of Nursing Sciences has an enriched library where books belonging to different subjects and genres of nursing and midwifery are stored. It is a spacious library with large and rare collections. Our students’ timetable is designed in such a format that they can visit the library twice a week and explore books apart from their syllabus.

This practice of visiting and exploring books in the library induces a habit of reading among all the students of Barind College of Nursing Sciences. The library supports their academic learning, professional knowledge and personal development.

Students can borrow desirable books to read for one week and then return those books to the BCNS library on a specific date. Thus, the BCNS library teaches students the value and importance of books and develops the habit of reading and gaining knowledge.

It also contributes a lot to enlighten our students’ minds, expand their horizons of knowledge and broaden their outlook.
